New system for Syrian Air's Flight Crew and Pilots

New system for Syrian Air's Flight Crew and Pilots

After four years of study, and 29 drafts, and tremendous work done by the Syrian Arab Airline's previous Management, and resumed by the new Management, President Bashar AlAssad issued the Legislative Decree No. 14 which provides for the adoption of the new system to improve the income of Flight Crew and pilots.

The system 105, (called by that name because of its dependence on the minimum hours of work, and their awards), guarantees stable income for pilots and Flight Crew, which provides a balance among the various segments of the Crew, which was an urgent demand after the leakage of a number of pilots to work in other Arab Airlines because of the large difference between the wages and benefits which was existed prior to the issuance of this system.
President Bashar AlAssad, had in providing necessary and logical income for pilots, to improve their conditions in line with their colleagues in neighboring countries, and to preserve this cadre, and reduce their leakage, as much as possible.

The new system also, ensures compensation in the medical and stopping cases, and annual percentage increase which will be approved after the suggestion of the General Management, and the minister's approval and finally will be issued by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
